An easy three and a half hour drive from Sydney and one and a half hours from Newcastle, though Dungog leads to the beautiful rolling hills and green pastures of The Williams River Valley and the foothillls of the World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops National Park.
You will find “Mountain View” at Lot 13 Wilderness Way 1953 Chichester Dam Road Bandon Grove within The Barringtons Wilderness Estate. Approximately 20kms from Dungog. Enjoy your trip.

“Mountain View” Lodge is nestled on The Barringtons Wilderness Estate, a 226-acre property in the foothills of the World Heritage-listed Barrington Tops National Park. Easy walks, overnight hikes, great picnic, fishing and camping spots await.
Chichester Dam, which collects water from the pristine mountain systems of the Barrington Tops to supply Newcastle and the lower Hunter Valley, is adjacent to the north and offers a pleasant area for a BBQ beside the bubbling Chichester River- BBQ wood is supplied, and the south views over the lush rolling green hills down Bellbird Valley from some areas within the estate.
Blended amongst the hills are 16 separate residences available for extra accommodation required, should large groups for weddings, conferences or family reunions etc. be using “Mountain View” as the centre of activities.

Relax in the country ambience of this four star Luxury accommodation as “Mountain View” offers five bedrooms, Three Queen and Two Twin Singles each with an extra Trundle bed allowing at total sleeping accommodation of twelve.
The main bedroom has its own bathroom featuring a spa bath whilst each other bedroom has its own ensuite.
The main living area has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, open plan living with polished floor boards, country style furnishings, wide open verandah and BBQ. The lodge is air conditioned and offers the comfort of a slow combustion wood fire to set the mood for those cold wintery nights. The well equipped Conference Room opens up to include the main living area for larger groups allowing dining seating of twenty four.
A short stroll in the great outdoors reveals our shared tennis court, pool and kids play set, whilst inside the ¾ size pool table, big screen TV, DVD and CD facilities and board games await or just unwind and relax in the heated spa or relax away from it all, catch up on some reading, sit on your private verandah watching the sunrise, gaze at the unbelievable abundance of stars above at night or enjoy visiting birds, the grazing wallabies with joeys in pouch and the thunder of curious possums along the verandah at night.
